Official Race Rules
1. Registration & Eligibility
Age Requirement: Participants must be at least 18 years old on race day.
Entry: Registration is personal, non-transferable, and non-refundable.
Unauthorized Participation: Running under another person’s name or without official registration will result in immediate disqualification and a permanent ban from all future events.
Waiver & Liability: All participants must sign a waiver releasing the organizer from liability for injury, illness, or loss related to the event. Participation is at the runner’s own risk.
Medical Fitness: Participants should be in good health and capable of completing the course. Organizers may request a medical certificate if deemed necessary.
2. Mandatory Gear
Must Carry:
Personal cup or bottle for hydration (no disposable cups at aid stations).
Fully charged mobile phone with emergency contacts saved (including organizer’s emergency number). Power banks recommended to ensure phone battery throughout the race.
Strongly Recommended (but not mandatory):
Emergency blanket (min. 130 x 210 cm)
Whistle for emergency signaling
Headlamp (required if starting before dawn or finishing after dark)
Waterproof jacket with hood and taped seams
Personal nutrition (energy gels, bars, etc.)
Headwear (buff or hat) and gloves (especially if temperature < 10°C)
Trekking poles (optional; if used, must be carried from start to finish)
Gear Checks: Random gear checks may be performed before, during, or after the race. Failure to carry mandatory gear will result in disqualification.
3. Race Bib & Timing
Must be worn visibly on the front of the torso at all times during the race.
Do not fold, cut, alter, or cover the bib in any way.
Report lost or damaged bibs immediately to race officials.
Removal of bib during the race results in disqualification.
If timing chips are used, they must not be tampered with or removed until after the finish line.
4. Pacers, Crew & External Support
Pacers: Personal pacers are not allowed anywhere on the course unless specified by the organizer.
Support Crew: Assistance from crew members is only allowed at designated aid stations.
Receiving aid outside these designated points (e.g., from vehicles, motorcycles, or bicycles) is prohibited and will result in disqualification.
Pacers and crew must respect race rules and cannot provide physical assistance beyond aid station zones.
5. Checkpoints & Cut-off Times
The race must be completed within 11 hours.
Participants must reach each checkpoint before the specified cut-off times to continue:

Participants missing cut-offs will be withdrawn from the race, accompanied safely off the course, and transported back to the finish area as available.
After cut-off, the course will be closed for safety reasons; participants must comply with officials’ instructions.
6. Did Not Finish (DNF) Protocol
Participants who withdraw must inform the nearest race official immediately and surrender their race bib.
Continuing on the course after withdrawing is strictly forbidden.
Emergency withdrawal can be done by calling race control on the mobile phone or alerting race marshals.
Transport back to the finish will be arranged based on location and availability; participants should not rely on personal transport.
7. Environmental Responsibility & Trail Etiquette
Littering: Absolutely forbidden. Participants must carry all personal trash, including gel wrappers, plastic bottles, and tissues, until proper disposal. Violation results in immediate disqualification.
Trail Integrity: Stay on the marked course at all times. Shortcutting or deviating from the route is prohibited and grounds for disqualification.
Respect: Participants must respect fellow runners, volunteers, local residents, and the natural environment. Avoid disturbing wildlife and vegetation.
Toilet Use: Use designated toilet areas where provided. No open defecation on the trail.
8. Medical & Safety
Participants must write any medical conditions, allergies, and emergency contact details clearly on the back of their race bib.
Race medical personnel and course sweepers have the authority to stop and remove any participant deemed at risk for safety or health reasons.
Participants are responsible for all costs related to medical treatment and evacuation if required.
Participants are encouraged to carry a small personal first aid kit and practice self-rescue skills as needed.
9. Code of Conduct
Harassment, abuse, discrimination, or any form of misconduct towards anyone involved in the event will not be tolerated.
Use of alcohol or recreational drugs before or during the race is prohibited.
Participants must follow all instructions given by race officials, volunteers, and emergency personnel without question.
Anti-doping rules apply if relevant; violations will lead to disqualification and further sanctions.
10. Force Majeure
Organizers reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or alter the event (including course modifications or distance changes) due to extreme weather, natural disasters, or other emergencies.
Registration fees will not be refunded in such cases.
Participants are advised to prepare for unexpected conditions and always prioritize safety.
